Endless plains, endless movement
Golden plains run further than the eye can hold, and across them moves the largest wildlife migration on Earth. Lions lie on ancient kopjes watching their kingdom, elephants cross the grass at sunrise, cheetahs race the wind, and millions of wildebeest pour over the horizon in a single, unbroken line.
Africa's masterpiece
The experience is surreal: distant roars carried through the night, sunsets that burn from gold into deep red, and long stretches of peaceful savannah silence broken only by wind in the grass. However far you travel afterwards, the Serengeti stays with you. It is, quite simply, Africa's masterpiece.
How we route it
We choose your camp by month, not by brand. In the green season we sit south near the calving grounds; from June we move west along the Grumeti; by late July we are north within reach of the Mara River crossings.

Ngorongoro
A collapsed caldera holding its own ecosystem. We time the descent early, before the crater floor fills with vehicles.
Tarangire
Baobab country and the largest elephant herds in the north, quiet enough that a sighting still feels private.
Kilimanjaro
Africa's roof, approached on routes chosen for acclimatisation rather than speed. Meru makes a fine warm-up.
