Zanzibar

A short flight from the Serengeti and a complete change of pace: Swahili stone architecture, clove and cardamom farms, and reef water warm enough to swim in at dawn.

Where to stay

The east coast for wide tidal sand and kitesurfing, the north for swimmable water at all tides, and Stone Town for a night or two of history before the beach.

How we connect it

A light-aircraft hop from the Serengeti airstrips gets you from bush breakfast to ocean sunset the same day. Transfers, timings and luggage limits are handled for you.
